Cards, invoice, payment or bank transfer: choose the method that suits you best. In The Folklore Company's online store, you pay quick and easy with Klarna Checkout. You fill in your email address and postal code and a quick credit check is done by Klarna. When you have completed your purchase, you can choose to pay the invoice directly by card or bank transfer, or wait for invoice by mail.
For delivery addresses outside Sweden, you pay with bank or credit card via Paypal. Allowed card types include Visa, MasterCard and American Express. It is also possible to pay with funds on your Paypal account.
Order for embroidery kits, accessories or other utils should be placed no later than December 16th in order to arrive before xmas.
Orders for ready-made embroideries should be placed no later than December 10th in order to arrive before xmas.
Order for gift cards or PDF pattern can be placed at any time, they will be delivered to your email immediately after order is placed.
To get your holiday crafts; place your order before the 26th of December. Orders placed after that will be deliverd during week 2, 2020.

We ship world-wide using Swedish delivery agent PostNord (www.posten.se/en). Small packages with a thickness of up to 3 cm are sent as letters being delivered directly into your mailbox. Larger packages are sent as parcels, to be collected at your nearest post office. It is the buyer's responsibility to specify a correct shipment address when placing the order.
Shipping cost is determined by the delivery country according to the table below. Bulky products like large frames imply a higher shipping cost according to the mentioned table. The total shipping cost is always explicitly shown in the checkout process when placing your order.
Products (stocked products and personal designed embroideries) are normally packed and dispatched within 2-3 business days. If for some reason this should change, i.e. due to high season, there will be information about this on our website. In cases where the products are not in stock, delivery time may be longer. Information about this will be sent to the e-mail that was specified when the order was placed.

All goods are checked carefully before sent to you. If your item is damaged, you received the wrong product or the wrong amount of products, we ask you to immediately contact us at email@example.com.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect. At a complaint, you as the purchaser must be able to demonstrate that the problem of the product was already at place at the time of delivery. Products that are specially designed just for you – for example personally designed embroidery patterns – will not be changed unless the error in the shipment lies with us.
You have right to cancel a purchase made in Sweden within 14 days from the date you receive the goods. When multiple products are ordered to be shipped on several occasions, terms of withdrawal is valid from the date you receive the final product. If you wish to cancel your purchase, please email us within 14 days at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You have the right to examine the goods, but if it is to be returned it shall be "essentially unchanged". If you have used the product or handled it in a way that is not necessary in order to examine it, we have the right to demand compensation for the product's value decrease.
No later than 14 days after you told us that you regretted your purchase, must the product be returned to The Folklore Company at the addressVera Sandbergs Allé 5b, 411 33 Göteborg, Sweden. After we have received and checked the item, we will pay the commodity value within 14 days. When a product is returned, it is you as the customer who pays for the return cost.
As for your own personalized embroidery (PDF, DIY-kit or ready-made embroidery) or bespoken fabric, we want to alert you that the right of withdrawal no longer apply. This is because the product was manufactured according to the consumer's specifications and clearly personalized.
As a customer you should always check the goods on delivery. If goods are damaged during shipment, immediately notify the Post Office. Always save the confirmation you receive of that your goods are damaged. The damage should then be investigated by the postal service, and the product shall therefore not be repaired, sold, returned or moved from the shipment address. Contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible after you found the damage.
All prices are stated including Swedish value added tax (VAT) of 25 %. For customers outside the European union – and non-Swedish corporate customers within the EU that can provide a valid VAT-number – VAT will not be added. The size of the VAT will be explicitly shown when the order is placed. For customers outside the European Union, customs duty may be added according to local regulations. Such fees will be charged by the delivery agent.
On our web site, you can choose one of the following currencies for showing product prices: SEK (Swedish crowns), EUR (Euros), USD (US Dollars) and GBP (Pound Sterling). You can also choose to place your order with any of these currencies. Please note that there may be payment methods that do not support all these currencies.
We sell our products and grant the right to use our design tool for private use / own use. This means that you can order our goods and buy ready-made designs or designs created using our design tool (under the conditions stated here) for use in the private sphere.
Companies may order our goods for their own use, not for resale / further assignments. In other words, you are not allowed to resell products we provide under these terms. Therefore, you may not purchase pre-designed designs, designs created using our design tools, ready-made embroidery or other products from us for resale or further assignments without our written approval. You may also not sell embroidery that you have made using patterns created using our design tool.
Do you want to use our design tool, our products or services in business? How fun! Such use is not covered by these terms, but we would like you to contact us and we will discuss the terms of the desired use.
The Folklore Company holds (through ownership or license) the rights to the content of this site. Unless otherwise stated in this agreement, you are not entitled to copy, make available or use the contents of these pages without the permission of The Folklore Company.
As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the design elements that you create yourself with the help of the design tool do not infringe on the rights of another person or company, such as copyright or design right. The Folklore Company has no liability to you or any third party for the design that you develop yourself.
We reserve the right for any typographical errors, errors in information and errors in specifications on any of our existing products and services. All pictures on our sites should be seen as illustrations, and we can not guarantee that the image reflects the product exactly.
When creating a personal designed pattern, the customer is resposible that the text is ok to use in regards of copyright and other applicable laws and regulations.
Unless otherwise stated, the smallest cuttings of fabric per item is 50 cm.
